With the publication of Warsaw Tales in 2006, New Europe Writers embarked on a decade of effort to capture the spirit of 'New' Europe in a series of anthologies. Centred on a city, each volume aims to use the most interesting contemporary writing by new and established authors to convey the both the vibrancy and variety of experiences in these dynamic times.
Warsaw Tales 2006 presents the reader with a thematic journey through more than sixty poems and shorts stories written by some thirty authors from ten countries of origin. Most are ex-pats currently living in Poland, some are Poles writing in English, and all have extensive experience of ‘things Polish.’
