On the basis of the analysis of documents as well as narrative interviews, the book presents the research on the topic of the situation of Roma children in Poland and Slovakia. It was our intention to show the participation of Polish and Slovak parents and teachers in preparing the children to cope at school. Special attention was paid to the issues connected with information and communication technologies which constitute important tools in facilitating the education of children in the community of Roma families as well as at kindergartens and integrated day care centers.
